In celebration of Silver’s 35th birthday and in honor of the amazing Silver we are launching ‘The Kind Rodeo’ ~ an alternative rodeo event.

Three ways to attend:

Spectator ~ $35 adult $10 child

Horse dancer ~ $100

Horse impersonator ~ $50

Camping Friday / Saturday (includes 2 breakfasts and 2 vegetarian dinners) ~ $150

We will be awarding someone the concious cowgirl/cowboy award, based on your nominations. (They don’t need to be present at the event to receive this award).

We have limited onsite camping for Friday evening and Saturday evening which includes breakfast Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Friday and Saturday. You can bring your own tent and camping gear or we do have limited camping gear for those travelling in by air.

For those bringing horses there is a nearby location to board horses overnight.

We are also close to the BLM with free camping (no camp fires) and the Los Coyotes reservation campground in Warner Springs. There are also several Air bn b’s on Old Mine rd within walking distance of our location.

Each horse dancer and horse impersonator will get five minutes to perform their dance. We will have an children’s appreciation panel; there are no losers at the kind rodeo, everyone is a winner!

Prepared to come and have fun! If you want to bring a birthday gift for Silver he likes oatmeal horse cookies, Equine Senior horse feed and bananas. ( He can’t eat carrots because of his teeth but the other horses can).
